Answer

Videos on Lynda are organized in Courses. Lynda is interested in people completing the courses and they don't make it easy to link to individual videos

While you can’t link directly to individual videos, you can add courses to a playlist and then disable the sections of the course you don’t want.

You can then make the playlist public and include a link in D2L or any other service.

Your students will need to have

  1. Their own Lynda accounts. The Library can help your students set those up. The student accounts need to be setup by the students on campus. Once the accounts are set up, the students can use Lynda off campus
  2. The public link to the playlist

To create a playlist, just go to Lynda.com while signed in to your account and look for this. You can add a new playlist directly.

To edit and modify playlists in the upper right corner of the screen is this

You can edit your playlists and make them public from the playlist page

Please contact the library if you'd like help or to set up a workshop
